Flodesk is an email marketing platform built with small businesses in mind. It was originally created to offer entrepreneurs a way to send visually stunning emails—but over time, it's grown to be one of the most simple and powerful email marketing tools out there.

My Personal Journey with Flodesk

Prior to owning Bud to Bloom Marketing, I was a lifestyle blogger and marketing virtual assistant. My first email marketing experience came in the summer of 2019 with Mailchimp. Link Actions: Set up an "action" to occur when someone clicks your email. You can add or remove them from a segment or workflow, or update a custom field value. This is a powerful tool for building automations or setting subscriber preferences.

Templates: Emails from Flodesk are my favorite to send and favorite to receive because let's face it...they're pretty. Flodesk has countless templates you can start from and customize to fit your brand. You can also create your own template(s) to build from within the platform.

Workflows: Build out a custom workflow to be triggered upon a specific action (adding someone to a segment, purchasing a product off your site, etc.). I build out all my email sequences within workflows, and they're often triggered by someone opting in for a freebie or purchasing a digital product.

Constant Improvements and Upgrades

One thing about Flodesk is they're always innovating, growing, and improving. So much has changed since I first tried the platform out in 2019—and it was a great tool to begin with. Flodesk releases new features and upgrades frequently, so I'm always learning something new and improving my email marketing processes.

Unmatched Team

This is something super unique to Flodesk in my opinion, but their team is the best. They are kind, resourceful, and always there to answer questions and support you in any way they can. The way they approach changes and address member concerns is admirable, and you can tell they truly care. You never feel like "just a data point" when you connect with the Flodesk team.
